Abigail Page Dealer Rental Information

Abigail Page Antiques is a great place to start or expand your antique business because we strive to offer unique old items in our store at reasonable prices. The Antique and “fun junk” business encourages people to embrace the idea of reusing instead of throwing things away.

Location! (Location, Location….) Lovely yet bustling, close to, but removed from, I-94, Hudson attracts seasonal tourists, as well as residents of St. Paul and Minneapolis and surrounding communities. Abigail Page is easy to find in the middle of the historic downtown. Hudson has an active Chamber of Commerce with lots of yearly promotions. Our downtown is a popular river town destination with ethnic and time tested restaurants, unique and trendy shops, as well as lots of cultural events.

As a Dealer, you’ll be responsible for these costs:

  • A “damage deposit” of one month’s rent.
  • Rent for your space, calculated at a cost per square foot of $1.85 at street level and $1.50 on the lower level. (Note: When figuring your booth’s square footage, 12” of the aisles bordering your booth are figured in the rent.)
  • An Advertising Fee of $15 is taken from your store check each month.
  • A 4% commission is charged on each dealer’s monthly sales.
  • A 3% charge card fee is subtracted from dealers’ sales that are charged each month.
  • For a 10X10 booth, a dealer is required to work 3 days per month. If you do not work your required days, you pay the owner for the days you did not work ($30 for each day) or get another dealer to work for you and compensate them $30.

OTHER OPTIONS:

  • You can start with a small space such as a case. There would be options in the future to increase space if desired.
  • Front Window – Rental cost is $20 for a month. This is in addition to space you normally rent and is optional. (Ask about the procedure.)

There are estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores, auctions, flea markets, barn sales, and your own accumulations to find things to sell.
